Endometriosis

Endometriosis can be challenging to diagnose and during your initial consultation, your Preventicum Doctor will discuss your gynaecological health in detail. At stage one, endometriosis can be difficult to detect through imaging alone, though by stage two, deep endometrial deposits may be visible on MRI and cysts can often be identified on both ultrasound and MRI.

Your Preventicum Doctor may discuss the Ziwig Endotest, a simple saliva test using Next Generation Sequencing of microRNA to provide a reliable and rapid diagnosis of all forms and stages of endometriosis.

We recommend this test for women aged 18 to 43 who are experiencing symptoms that may indicate endometriosis or who have been seeking a diagnosis. Results will be available within four weeks of your assessment.
