Early identification of a brain aneurysm
Background
Our client attended their assessment feeling well, with no symptoms or concerns. As part of their extensive evaluation, we performed advanced brain imaging, including detailed scans of the blood vessels within the brain.
Clinical findings
Their brain scans identified a large aneurysm measuring approximately 10mm. An immediate referral was made to a trusted Consultant Neurosurgeon within our network to ensure prompt specialist care.
Next steps
Following careful consideration of the treatment options, our client selected open surgical repair, after which they made an excellent recovery and remain in very good health.
